Founder Story

A business shaped by decades inside international financial services.

Phil Neilson founded Just Service Global to support experienced independent international financial advisers working with expatriate and internationally mobile clients — a market he has been involved with for more than 30 years.

His career has included senior executive, advisory, governance, and consulting roles across New Zealand and Hong Kong. Phil previously served on the Executive Management Board of Colonial New Zealand and, after relocating to Hong Kong in 2002, established ING Financial Planning and helped develop one of Hong Kong's early mutual fund wrap platforms.

Over the years, he has also acted as an industry consultant to organisations including the Securities and Futures Commission, Manulife Hong Kong, Sun Life Hong Kong, and J. Safra Sarasin Private Bank. His governance experience includes serving as an Independent Non-Executive Director of AIG United Guaranty Insurance (Asia) Ltd and Chairman of its Audit Committee.

Just Service Global was created from this practical experience and reflects a long-term focus on adviser support, operational consistency, servicing continuity, and recurring advisory-fee relationships within international advisory businesses.

Phil's view is straightforward: experienced independent international financial advisers should be able to maintain both independence and high servicing standards through the right operational support and infrastructure.
